Technical Architecture

jCatalog SellFast is a web application developed 100% in Java. It is sufficient to have a web browser to use and administer the software. Modern XML interfaces are used for data exchange.

The application can be made available on all leading Windows and Unix platforms (e.g.: Windows 2003 Server, Linux, AIX, HP UX) on account of its Java implementation.

In principle, standard databases by Oracle, MS-SQL Server or MySQL are supported. If requested, other database management systems (e.g. DB/2) are possible, too.

The jCatalog SellFast architecture is highly scalable and can be very easily upgraded to a server farm via load distribution (LoadBalancer).
