Technical Architecture

jCatalog SellFast is a web application developed 100% in Java. It is sufficient to have a web browser to use and administer the software. Modern XML interfaces are used for data exchange.

The application can be made available on all leading Windows and Unix platforms (e.g. Windows 2003 Server, Linux, AIX, HP UX) on account of its Java implementation.

In principle, standard databases by Oracle, MS-SQL Server or MySQL are supported. If requested, other database management systems (e.g. DB/2) are possible, too.

The jCatalog SellFast architecture is highly scalable and can be very easily upgraded to a server farm via load distribution (LoadBalancer).
