kernpunkt GmbH becomes a jCatalog partner

The Cologne-based company kernpunkt GmbH and jCatalog Software AG from Dortmund have entered into a collaboration within the scope of jCatalog's partner program. The Cologne-based e-Business service provider will from now on extend its offered range of products and services with the software solutions for e-Procurement and Product Information Management (PIM) from jCatalog.

With the software solutions from jCatalog Software AG, kernpunkt GmbH extends its competence in the areas of eProcurement platforms (Buy Side) and Product Information Management (Sell Side) and will from now on offer a software solution for demanding e-Business projects. The decision to enter into a partnership with the Dortmund-based software manufacturer came after an extensive market analysis. Within the scope of a customer project, the kernpunkt GmbH conducted a comprehensive analysis of a dozen suppliers and determined that the solutions from jCatalog Software AG form an ideal extension of their own performance range.

As a first step in this partnership, kernpunkt GmbH will be present at jCatalog's partner stand at CeBIT 2006 (hall 3 - stand E39). At the kernpunkt competence day on March 2, 2006 (for more information, see www.kernpunkt.de/kompetenztag), jCatalog Software AG will present a customer project in the area of Product Information Management.
