Stephan Albers is the CEO and co-founder of jCatalog Software AG. He is responsible for sales and development activities. He founded jCatalog Software AG jointly with Martin Frommberger in 1999. Prior to this, he was Managing Partner in the software company of A & F Systeme. Here Stephan Albers was responsible for the development activities, working as Project Leader on the successful implementation of several major customer projects such as Siemens Telefonsysteme or Hyundai Motor Deutschland. Albers studied Applied Information Technology with special emphasis on engineering at the University of Dortmund, graduating with a diploma in Information Technology.
Paul Lane is responsible for Business Development and Operations of jCatalog Software Inc., the US subsidiary of jCatalog Software AG. He is also responsible for the market segment "Marketplaces and Procurement Service Providers". Paul Lane has 25 years of experience in the American software sector. In the last six years, he has specialized in the development of supplier relationship management solutions within international organizations. Before joining jCatalog Software AG, Paul Lane was responsible as Key Account Manager and Project Leader for some of the largest global projects at Commerce One, USA. Prior to this, he managed the Western US Professional Services for Indus International, a leading provider for enterprise architecture management. He started his change of career at Bechtel, the largest construction company in the USA. Paul Lane studied at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and has a BE in Engineering Science.
Tomas Matthes joined jCatalog in 2010. He is the head of Professional Services for Buyside und Sellside projects and also the Munich office manager for jCatalog. From 2003 until 2010, Tomas was Managing Director of Matthes&Anthuber Solution Consulting GmbH. From 1987 to 2003 he held various positions at Digital Equipment, Compaq and Hewlett Packard. In 1999 he began specializing in eProcurement and B2B marketplaces as well as supply chain and catalog management. Tomas has managed many international projects in procurement and catalog management including one of the first major e-procurement projects in Germany. He was a founding member and leader of the European Competence Center for e-procurement at Compaq and Hewlett Packard.
Stefan Riesenbeck has been Head of Support and Operations at jCatalog Software AG since 2007. From 2001 until 2007 he worked as Project Manager in Professional Service at jCatalog Software AG, his responsibilities here including major projects with IBX and Siemens and managing the introduction of product information systems, e.g. at Tesa and Otto Office. Prior to this, Stefan Riesenbeck worked in software development at jCatalog Software AG. He studied Business Information Systems at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences.
Kelly Babbit is responsible for Marketing and European Business Development for jCatalog Software AG. He has over 14 years experience in building and managing finance and supply chain software solutions. Kelly Babbit joined jCatalog in early 2010 from Siemens where he served as the Director of Click2Procure and was responsible for Siemens global catalog and product master data management platform. Prior to Siemens, he served as a product and technology leader for Perfect Commerce as the Director of Product Management and Perfect’s solutions strategy. There, he also helped to create and launch ONCE (Open Network for Commerce Exchange), the main trade association for cloud solution providers and marketplaces. Prior to Perfect Commerce, Kelly was at UMB Bank where he helped direct the creation of a leading supplier network and UnitePlus, one of the world’s first Internet-based cash management systems. Kelly Babbit received his education at the University of Kansas in Cartography.
Dirk Fischbach has been working for jCatalog Software AG for 15 years. He is a member of the product management team and responsible for jCatalog’s purchasing tools as well as for supervising international solution partners.
After studying economics at Bochum University, he started his career in the software industry and is now looking back on 20 years of experience in the implementation of e-business solutions. From 1977 to 2000 he was Head of Marketing at BBL Software AG in Paderborn and dealt mainly with internet-based project management software. He then moved on to a marketing director position at myview technologies GmbH & Co. KG. Since 2001 Mr Fischbach has been working for jCatalog as a product manager.
Jens Thiemann has been a member of the product management team since joining jCatalog Software AG in April 2006. Currently, he is responsible for the PIM / MDM product lines. His tasks include the evaluation of market requirements while focusing on the further development of jCatalog’s product range. In this context he transformed the product development into an agile process and initiated the installation of a premium partner network.
Since the mid-1990s, one of Jens Thiemann’s main business objectives was data organization and its application in different channels. While studying computer science, he translated and commented on the referenced technology standards and published several specialist articles.
During this time, he also founded Klute-Thiemann Informationstechnologie GmbH & Co. KG. In his role as managing partner he was responsible for all commercial issues, introduced standard products and standardized the respective operational processes. Furthermore, Mr. Thiemann was involved in the development of a multilingual customer support organization and supervised several multimedia publishing projects.
Hartmut Schell began his sales career at jCatalog Software AG more than 14 years ago. In December 2015, he assumed the position of European Sales Manager PIM / MDM / Multichannel.
The state-certified business economist started in 1992 at Mathematische Beratungs- und Programmierungsdienst GmbH (mbp), the oldest German software house in Dortmund. At EDS and Merant Microfocus he then was responsible for the marketing of COBOL development tools in the mainframe and client-server environment of IBM and Siemens computers subsequently followed by sales manager positions at ICL and Olivetti.
In 2001 Hartmut Schell moved on to jCatalog and initially worked as a key account manager for both divisions of the company, before focusing on PIM / MDM. In 2015 he was appointed Sales Director. The automotive sector is his passion - in his spare time he tours across Europe on his motorcycle.
Martin Frommberger is one of the main shareholders and a member of the Advisory Board of jCatalog AG. He advises jCatalog Software AG in the areas of professional services, finances and operations in particular. Before co-founding jCatalog Software AG in 2000, he was a joint founder of A & F Systeme together with Stephan Albers in 1991, where he was responsible for various projects as well as the entire systems business. Martin Frommberger has a diploma in Information Technology, having studied Applied Information Technology with special emphasis on engineering sciences at the University of Dortmund.
